First converted into a hotel in the 1920s, it underwent many additions by its various owners until it was purchased by Goran Strok in 1996, who meticulously restored it to maintain its historical heritage while providing some needed upgrades.

Many original pieces can still be seen throughout the hotel including a large alabaster fireplace, thick stone walls, oak doors, wood-panelled rooms and large sash windows.
