Aristocrat Technologies and Konami Gaming Begin Working Cooperatively on Network Gaming |
|
Aristocrat Technologies is proud to announce that it will be displaying both Server-Supported and Server-Based Gaming in its booth at the upcoming Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, November 18-20. |
Aristocrat Technologies has been working cooperatively with Bally Technologies for nearly two years on the development of the Download Configuration Manager for the Server Supported Gaming environment. Now, Aristocrat is proud to announce that it has also begun working with Konami Gaming on porting Konami content onto the Aristocrat TruServ(TM) platform.
Konami has agreed to the porting of its "Rawhide(TM)" game, one of its most popular titles, to Aristocrat's TruServ platform. The Rawhide game will be prominently included in the suite of games on the TruServ platform, alongside popular titles from Aristocrat and other providers.
Konami Gaming Chief Operating Officer Steve Sutherland said, "At Konami, we are committed to working in an open architecture environment for the development of Server-Based Gaming initiatives. Working with Aristocrat and the TruServ team has been an easy process. The Management teams of both companies have executed the porting plan flawlessly. We look forward to expanding the relationship between the two companies."
Aristocrat President of the Americas Nick Khin said, "This is a tremendous step forward for the industry. Bringing Konami into the mix will further benefit operators as we bring Server-Based Gaming to fruition. Operators will soon realize the benefits of having content from multiple manufacturers on a single box."
