Pinkberry Announces Northern California Expansion |
|
Announced it will expand throughout Northern California beginning with the opening of a new store in San Jose next month. |
The store, scheduled to debut at Santana Row, will serve Pinkberry's refreshing, tangy and light frozen yogurt, which in January 2005 launched a nationwide revolution among consumers desiring a guilt-free and affordable indulgence. The nonfat, low-calorie treat uses only the highest quality ingredients, and is designed to harmonize with daily fresh-cut fruit toppings. Pinkberry is made with nonfat milk and real nonfat yogurt that has been certified by the National Yogurt Association to carry the Live & Active Cultures seal.
'We are delighted to answer the demand of loyal Pinkberry fans by sharing our Swirly Goodness with Northern California, as we believe it is a market with great potential,' says Ron Graves, Pinkberry CEO. 'Our expansion beyond Southern California and New York, beginning with San Jose, marks a significant achievement in our growth strategy and we are thrilled to bring Pinkberry's signature tangy and refreshing taste here.'
Pinkberry Santana Row will feature an innovative, open-air concept complete with modern furnishings and inspired design as found in all of its current 70 locations. True to the Pinkberry store concepts in Southern California and New York City, the new location will feature eye-catching and inspiring designs within an inviting and energetic atmosphere.
'Our growth strategy will include the opening of several other Northern California locations expected in the next 18 months," adds Graves. "We're committed to sharing the one-of-a-kind taste and texture of Pinkberry with Northern California residents."
