The Doubletree by Hilton Aberdeen City Centre, which is currently in the midst of a multi-phase, multi-million-pound hotel improvement and investment scheme, is operated by Patio Hotel (Aberdeen) Ltd. under a franchise hotel agreement with Hilton Hotels Corporation.

The launch of the Doubletree by Hilton Aberdeen City Centre marks the start of an extensive expansion plan by HHC in Scotland which will feature the Hilton brand, along with three new brands: Doubletree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton by Hilton. During the next five years the company aims to double the number of hotels in Scotland from 11 to 22 through the introduction of the Hilton Family of Brands.
